First I will say Bills phone service and technician were kind and professional they were on time and prompt with service. That being said, I called because I saw the $59 maintenance fee for a unit service and the good reviews online. When… More I called I had let them know over the last two years our 6 year old ac unit had really slowed down and seemed to be struggling to put out cold air. I wanted to see if a service for the machine, since it had never been cleaned or inspected, would help. The technician took it apart and let me know my option was to buy a $12,000 new unit and new furnace when my furnace works perfectly. We were not prepared to pay that much. I asked the tech if there were any other options for us and he told me no. My husband did a little research and cleaned our unit and cleared some thick debris that was on the condenser and our AC has been running great ever since. It makes us so discouraged that first we didn’t get the until “service” and also that the first thing they did was try and sell us instead of giving us all options. Also I repeatedly asked for a unit service and we don’t feel we got that at all. If they helped us we with a small fix we would be more apt to trust the company and call them in the future and now we will never. Such a small thing as my husband hosing down the condenser vs spending $12,000.00!!!

Chose this company because of the high reviews, but our experience was not great. Paid them $100 to tell us the compressor is out. Had additional conversations about fixing, and the owner even came out to the house to take a look, left… More his card, and said he would email with next steps. That was over a week ago, and we've been completely ghosted. I've followed up twice with no response. If they don't want to do the work, that is fine...they just needed to communicate that to us. I have to cut my losses and move to another service provider as problems still exist after multiple trips to correct multiple issues. I have been with Bill's Heating & Air since 2018, at first they were great but their customer service has just gone down hill in the past 3 to 4 yrs. They continually cancel apts and this year they didn't do all the scheduled… More maintance. Mainly not doing the tankless hot water flush as scheduled along with furnace maintance. They finally came & preformed the service months later stating that the water flush is not a priority for them.This year they showed up only to do the furnace maintance & did not do the tankless hot water flush that was also scheduled. The service men stated we ran out of rock salt you'll need to reschedule. Front office didn't even call back to try to reschedule with me. I guess they also don't check their trucks for supplies before heading out to preform pre-scheduled maintances for their customers to make sure they have everything they need to complete the job? They increased their prices to half as much to boot! And then failed to preform all services scheduled. I complained to customer service who stated a he'd pass my number onto his supervisor who has never made any attempt to call me back. They JUST DON'T CARE folks. If you're thinking to go with Bill's Heating & Air please go online and read reviews. STAY CLEAR FOLKS, they just DON'T CARE!

I was glad to give this company a great review three weeks ago after a nice man came to my house and seemed to be programming my rather complex thermostat so we wouldn't be sweating at night and freezing during the day. When I called to ask them to come and really take care of the problem, they wanted to charge me another 90.00, saying that there must be something wrong with my thermostat. They should have been able to tell that the first time they provided "service."
